Charlton's Old Home Day a Great Success
What a great weekend for a country fair. The town of Charlton hosted their annual Old Home Day event this weekend. This was the town's 114th fair. There were many things to do at the fair.
The fair started Saturday night with a concert and Fireworks. Sunday featured a Puppet show followed by a concert featuring White Rose Concession.
Monday Started with a Soap Box Race on Mugget hill, and a road race at 9:00 am.
Activities included Craft booths, Flower Show, Frog Jumping Contest, Food Booths on the Common, a Parade, (Decorated doll carriages and bikes!), a Bed Races log cutting competition, and RE/MAX Balloon.
Events at the bandstand included a DJ and Karaoke.
Log cutting and train rides were a big hit.
The RE/MAX Balloon flew for a couple hours in the morning on Labor day. Local RE/MAX volunteers dedicated their time to raise money for the Charlton Little league.
Fun was had by all, animal and human alike.
